Oklahoma High School Football Rankings: Class 6A-II Week Six

  1. Bixby (5-0, 2-0, Last week No. 1).

    • The Spartans won their 17th-straight game and second shut out of the season 31-0 against Booker T. Washington. Mason Williams was 15-17-236-1 passing with a TD throw to Trevon Holt, who was 6-137 receiving. Braylin Presley led the ground 11-88 for 2 TDs. Reis Vernon continued his perfect season kicking PATs (35/35) and kicked a 37-yard field goal.

    • Bixby will host Ponca City Friday at 7:00 p.m. They defeated the Wildcats 57-20 last year.

  2. Stillwater (5-0, 2-0 Last week No. 2).

    • Gunnar Gundy was 25-39-307 passing for 4 TDs, Steven Brown was 11-137 receiving, and Qwontrel Walker was 22-240 rushing in a 49-14 rout of Midwest City.

    • The Pioneers will host Choctaw Friday at 7:00 p.m. They defeated the Yellowjackets 42-22 last season.

  3. Muskogee (5-0, 2-0, Last week No. 4).

    • Muskogee dominated Sand Springs with a 40-0 first half shutout and took a 47-0 lead before letting the Sandites on the board. Ty Williams was 12-17-110-0 for 1 TD by air, and was 7-62 for another TD on the ground. Jimmie Coleman was 18-133 rushing for 3 TDs. The defense came away with three fumble recoveries and held the Sandites to their lowest offensive output of the year in both points and yards.

    • The Roughers will host Sapulpa Friday at 7:00 p.m. They fell 49-48 in overtime to the Chieftains last season.

  4. Del City (4-1, 2-0, Last week No. 3).

    • Del City had little difficulty in a 50-6 rout of Putnam West, taking a 16-0 halftime lead and 23-0 advantage before letting the Patriots on the board. LaJuan Brown scored 3 TD runs, Jahkobie Smith scored on a 75-yard punt return, Cyrus Adams recovered a fumble, and Keshon Meadows threw for a score and ran for a score.

    • The Eagles will host Deer Creek Friday at 7:00 p.m. They defeated the Antlers 35-6 last year.

  5. Booker T. Washington (2-3, 1-1, Last week No. 5).

    • The Hornets suffered their second shutout of the season, 31-0 against Bixby. They never got the offense rolling, but the defense held the Spartans to their lowest-scoring output of the year.

    • Washington will travel to Shawnee Friday at 7:30 p.m. They beat the Wolves 54-0 last year.

  6. Midwest City (1-4, 1-1, Last week No. 6).

    • The Bombers fell 49-14 to Stillwater. Deangelo Irvin threw TD passes of 43 yards to Brian Wilson and 73 yards to Makale Smith. They will travel to Putnam City Friday at 7:00 p.m. They beat the Pirates 36-0 last year.

  7. Sapulpa (4-1, 1-1, Last week No. 8).

    • The Chieftains struggled against a winless Bartlesville squad, trailing by as much as 34-21 before rallying to a 55-40 win. Sapulpa will travel to Muskogee Friday at 7:00 p.m. They beat the Roughers 49-48 in overtime last season.

  8. Choctaw (3-2, 1-1), Last week No. 9).

    • The Yellowjackets blew out Putnam City 58-7. Gabe Johnson returned the opening kick for a score and Thad Williams threw four TD passes for a 51-0 halftime lead.

    • Choctaw will travel to Stillwater Friday at 7:00 p.m. They fell 42-22 to the Pioneers last season.

  9. Edmond Deer Creek (3-2, 1-1), Last week No. 10).

    • The Antlers stunned Lawton 17-14 with a 55-yard field goal from Logan Ward to send the game to overtime, and a 22-yard field goal to secure the upset. Brett Pense was 6-14-59-1 passing and Tyler Travis bore the brunt of the offense with a 22-178 ground game.

    • Deer Creek will travel to Del City Friday at 7:00 p.m. They fell 35-6 to the Eagles last year.

  10. Lawton (3-2, 0-2, Last week No. 7).

    • The Wolverines were upset 17-14 in overtime by Deer Creek. They found all of their offense on the ground, led by Christian Houston with 14 carries for 89 yards. Devin Simpson and Eric Wiley scored the team’s two touchdowns.

    • Lawton will host Putnam West Thursday at 7:00 p.m. They doubled the Patriots 42-21 last year.

  11. Ponca City (3-2, 1-1, Last week No. 12).

    • Kyter Welch was 1-8-17-0 passing and 13-53 rushing for a touchdwn in a 21-7 win over Shawnee. Cameron Jackson was 19-107 rushing, and Eli Wohl was 6-34 for 2 TDs.

    • The Wildcats will travel to Bixby Friday at 7:00 p.m. They lost 57-20 last year.

  12. Sand Springs (2-3, 1-1, Last week No. 11).

    • The Sandites were dominated 54-6 by Muskogee for their worst loss since 2013. The Roughers took a 47-0 lead before sending in the second string. Ty Pennington was 13-23-107-0 for the lone TD.

    • Sand Springs will travel to Bartlesville Friday at 7:00 p.m. They fell 29-27 to the Bruins last season.

  13. Bartlesville (0-5, 0-2, Last week No. 14).

    • The Bruins are still looking for their first win, but got a moral victory in a 55-40 loss to Sapulpa, leading by as much as 34-21 before the Chieftains rallied. Ben Winters was 19-32-311 passing for two touchdowns. Laken Clowdus ran for 251 yards and three scores.

    • Bartlesville will host Sand Springs Friday at 7:00 p.m. They won 29-27 last year.

  14. Shawnee (1-4, 0-2, Last week No. 13).

    • Shawnee was held to a 22-99 rushing performance against 13 penalties for 124 yards in a 21-7 loss to Ponca City. Karson Conaway was 13-24-188-1 passing with one TD and Cyn’Cere Spencer was 4-110 receiving.

    • The Wolves will host Booker T. Washington Friday at 7:30 p.m. for Homecoming. They fell 54-0 to the Hornets last year.

  15. Putnam City (1-4, 1-1, Last week No. 15).

    • The Pirates fell 58-7 to Choctaw and will host Midwest City Friday at 7:00 p.m. They fell 36-0 to the Bombers last year.

  16. Putnam City West (0-5, 0-2, Last week No. 16).

    • The Patriots lost their eleventh-straight game, 50-6 to Del City. They will travel to Lawton Friday at 7:00 p.m. They lost 42-21 to the Wolverines last year.
