CPHS Softball: Elizabeth Luttrell signs with Cowley County College
/Charles Page High School senior Elizabeth Luttrell signed a letter of intent Wednesday morning to play softball for Cowley County Community College.
Luttrell was a three-year starting first baseman for the Lady Sandites and finished her career with a .356 batting average, .548 slugging average, .426 on-base percentage, 78 hits, 62 runs, 72 RBI, and nine home runs. She was given an All-District Honorable Mention for the 2018 season.
Cowley College is located in Arkansas City, Kansas and competes in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II. The Tigers went 42-16 last season under third-year Head Coach Jenny Hoyt.
The Lady Sandites won four-straight Regional Championships during Luttrell’s career, as well as the 2018 Bixby Tournament title and 6A Academic State Titles in 2016 and 2018. They made four State Tournament appearances and one State finals appearance in 2015.
