Sandite of the Week Malonn Moyer takes first place at Collinsville Discus Throw

Charles Page High School senior Malonn Moyer was selected as our Sandite of the Week for his performance at last week's Terry Due Track Classic in Collinsville. 

Moyer took first place in the discus throw with a personal record of 139 feet and nine inches, handily defeating the runner-up by more than seven feet. He also took fifth place in shot put with a career-best 44 feet and eleven inches. 

Moyer also placed third in discus at the Frontier Valley Conference Championship this week with a distance of 134'03.00".
