CPHS Basketball: Isabella Regalado signs with Northeastern State University

Charles Page High School senior Isabella Regalado signed a letter of intent Wednesday morning to play basketball for Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Regalado is a fourth-year varsity player and was the number-three scorer on the team last season. She averaged 9.3 points and 4.8 rebound per game last season with a 31.3% field goal percentage and 69.1% free throw percentage. She led her team in scoring on three occasions with a career-high of 23 points and was given a Frontier Valley Conference Honorable Mention in 2018.

NSU competes in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association. They went 10-17 last season under first-year Head Coach Fala Bullock.

The Lady Sandites went 18-8 last season and advanced to the State Tournament for the second-straight year. They won their third-straight Bishop Kelley Invitational Championship, second-straight Regional Championship, and second-straight Area Championship. The Sandites also won the Coffeyville Interstate Classic during Regalado’s freshman and sophomore years and the Frontier Valley Conference Championship her sophomore year.

Regalado’s senior season will kick off November 27th at Ponca City High School.
