The Charles Page High School soccer teams suffered a pair of Highway 97 Rivalry defeats Tuesday night at the Westside Sports Complex. Sapulpa won both the boys and girls matches 6-1.

The Sapulpa girls (4-2, 1-0) snapped a two-game losing streak to kick off district action against the Lady Sandites (3-2, 0-1). Khaige English's first goal was nullified on an offsides call, but she made up for it less than a minute later to take the lead at 6:57. Kayln Anderson added another at 8:36, and Abby Graham had a great shot at 14:50 that was saved by Alison Day.

Julia Wolf scored with an assist from Kyle Taylor at 23:20, but it would be the only goal of the game for the visiting Lady Sandites. The Sandites trailed 2-1 at halftime and suffered a second half shutout. Stormie Ramsey scored two goals for Sapulpa, one with an assist from Graham, while Graham scored two and nearly had a third as she bounced a header off the crossbar.

Ethan Castillo kicked off boys' action for Sapulpa (5-1, 1-0) with a goal at 3:25, then assisted Caleb Walsh a few minutes later. Jack Bratcher got the visitors on the board at 8:54. Castillo had an offside goal nullified at 10:47, then Jaden Weiser nearly tied it up at 14:14 but the shot traveled just inches over the crossbar. Castillo scored on a penalty kick at 32:24 and Jaxon Zamudio scored at 39:01 for a 4-1 halftime advantage.

In the second half Walsh scored with an assist from Tj Hale at 65:16 and Castillo made it a hat trick at 69:30. Bratcher nearly had a brace, netting a header at 66:59, but was called offsides.
