Schlotzsky's breaks ground in Sand Springs RiverWest development
/Schlotzsky’s, a fast-casual restaurant brand known for its made-to-order sandwiches, specialty pizzas and flatbreads, fresh salads, soups and more, has officially broken ground in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. The new restaurant will be located at 141 Alexander Blvd., Sand Springs, OK and is planning to open in the winter.
The Sand Springs Schlotzsky’s will be a drive-thru only restaurant, offering two drive-thru lanes to make dining easier and quicker than ever in the Sand Springs community. This location will also offer a walk-up window and patio seating for guests to enjoy their meals. The restaurant also offers catering and a pickup window dedicated to third party delivery orders.
“We are excited to welcome Schlotzsky’s to Sand Springs. This store will help answer the requests we have received from our citizens to bring quality establishments to our community,” said James O. Spoon, Mayor of Sand Springs. “Schlotzsky’s has always been one of the top requested establishments in those requests, so we are happy to bring them to RiverWest in Sand Springs.”
RiverWest currently is home to an ALDI grocery store, Colton’s Steak House, El Maguey Mexican restaurant, Tulsa Teachers Credit Union, IHOP, McDonald’s, Warren Clinic, CVS, Starbucks, Holiday Inn Express, and O’Reilly Auto Parts.
The Sand Springs Schlotzsky’s is planning to host a soft opening upon completion of construction, followed by a larger grand opening celebration to welcome in the community and enjoy delicious meals with existing customers and greet the new ones. This will be the second Schlotzsky’s in Oklahoma that the franchisee owns, the first being in Owasso, OK.
