Undefeated senior Ben Banker (5-0, 6-0) got the win on the mound against Broken Arrow, throwing his first seven-inning shutout with seven strikeouts, three hits, and four walks. The Sandites recorded eight hits and three doubles in their third-straight win over the Tigers.

The game went scoreless till the bottom of the third when Seth Villines reached on an error and scored on a single from Tyler Ash. Ash came in on a single from Cal Watkins for the 2-0 lead.

The Tigers walked two in the fourth inning and both runners scored on sacrifice bunts. Brycen Peterman and Kyler Murray recorded RBIs to score Keaton Campbell and Ethan Sartin. Villines reached on an error in the bottom of the sixth, then Murray and Ash hit back-to-back doubles for the 6-0 advantage.

Broken Arrow stranded two in the sixth and two in the seventh but couldn’t hit pay dirt. Watkins caught a pop fly to secure the victory.
