We're three weeks into the high school baseball season and the Sandites (10-2) are on fire with a six-game win streak after coming from behind to top Union 7-6 in extra innings last night. As the boys head into round three at the Bixby Tournament tonight, here's where they stand as individuals.

Hunter Greathouse has played all 12 games this season and is the current Sandite of the Week. He holds a .556 batting average with 9 runs, 13 singles, 6 doubles, 1 triple, and 10 RBI. He has a .667 slugging average, a .600 OBP, 2 sacrifices, and has only been struck out 1 time in 36 at-bats. Fielding, he has 7 putouts and 17 assists, typically playing shortstop or third base. He's got a 1-0 record on the mound with a .730 ERA, a 1.273 WHIP, and throws 58% strikes. He's faced 50 batters over 11 innings, given up only 7 hits, 7 walks, 8 earned runs, and has struck out 22.

Jake Ward has played all 12 games this season and holds a .484 batting average with 12 singles, 2 doubles, 1 home run, 5 runs, and 7 RBI from 31 at-bats. Cody Motes has played in 1 game this season and scored 2 runs as a courtesy runner against Notre Dame Prep.

Malachi Walton played his first game last night against Union and tied the game up as a pinch runner to force extra innings where Sand Springs found the win.
