CPHS Soccer: Girls fall 3-0 to Booker T. Washington in district debut

The Charles Page High School Girls' Soccer team (1-6 overall, 0-1 district) traveled to Booker T. Washington High School (4-3, 1-0) for their first district game of the season and fell by 3-0 shutout.
The Lady Sandites were still recovering from an injury-laden tournament this past weekend and were missing their head coach due to a red card from the previous game.
Sand Springs was unable to muster enough offense to keep up with the Hornets, who out shot the Sandites nineteen to five. Junior goalkeeper Abigail Banks saved five of eight shots on goal.
The Ladies will return to action Friday at 6:00 p.m. in a non-district road game against Enid (1-6).
