McCorkle’s coaching career began at Cascia Hall Prep School where he won Regional titles in 2010 and 2011 and a State title in 2010. He was named the OBU Head Coach in 2012 and led the men’s team to NAIA Tournament appearances in 2013 and 2015 and women’s NAIA appearances from 2013-2015. His 2014 men’s singles team came in second at the ITA Nationals. He went 64-42 as men’s coach and 81-30 as women’s coach in his five years.

His women’s team won the Great American Conference Championship in 2016 and he was named GAC Women’s Coach of the Year. His men’s team won the GAC in 2017 and he was named GAC Men’s Coach of the Year. Both teams won NCCAA National Titles in 2017 and he was named both Men and Women’s Coach of the Year.

McCorkle moved up to the NCAA Division I level in 2017 as an Assistant Coach at Oral Roberts University.
