Sand Springs Boys Basketball Coaches

Sand Springs boys basketball coaches Eric Savage, Durrell Hawkins, and Kanyen Cole

Head Coach Eric Savage led Tulsa Memorial High School to a 305-93 record in twelve seasons with State Championship titles in 2003, 2008, and 2013, and a Runner-Up finish in 2010. He has been with the Sandites since 2013 and holds a 140-131 record at Sand Springs.

Varsity Assistant Coach Durrell Hawkins was an Assistant Coach at Wagoner High School for four seasons before coming to Sand Springs in 2017.

Varsity Assistant Coach Corey Haith joined the Sand Springs staff in 2022. Haith prepped at Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, MO. and at Palmer Trinity in Miami, FL. before playing two seasons at the University of Missouri and two seasons at the University of Tulsa.

Varsity Assistant Deke Thompson II joined the staff in 2023. An All-State selection from Jenks, Thompson played one season of college ball at Coppin State and two seasons at Missouri State.
