Sand Springs Candidates File for Office
/Candidate filings continued Tuesday for Tulsa County offices and several Sand Springs residents threw their names in the hat.
Incumbent Sand Springs Mayor Jim Spoon, 71, filed for reelection to the city’s At Large position, and has yet to draw a challenger.
Incumbent Vice Mayor Beau Wilson, 40, filed for reelection and thus far has not drawn a challenger in Ward 5.
Incumbent Ward 6 Councilman Brian Jackson, 40, drew a challenge from David B. Parker, 61.
Incumbent Vice President Karina Shreffler, 45, filed unopposed for the Keystone Public Schools Board Office No. 1.
Incumbent Bo Naugle, 56, filed unopposed for the Sand Springs Public Schools Board Office No. 4.
Amanda Lonsdale, 45, and Doc Geiger, 74, filed for the Berryhill Board of Education Office No. 4 position.
Wednesday is the final day of candidacy filings. Interested candidates must file in person by 5:00 p.m. at the Tulsa County Election Board at 555 N. Denver Ave. in Tulsa.
