Sand Springs doesn't have much crime, but it never fails to have a summer murder. Thankfully, the Sertoma Club and Community Theatre are always readily available to sniff out the culprit and make some money in the process.

The 17th annual Sand Springs Murder Mystery Dinner will return to Case Community Center on Saturday, August 17, 2024. The show, starring members of the Sand Springs Community Theatre, promises to be an unforgettable experience for all who attend.

The theme of this year's dinner is "Death is a Cabernet, Ol’ Chum.” This year's event promises to be the most exciting yet, with fantastic food, excellent entertainment, and a murder mystery that will keep you guessing until the end.

The doors will open at 5:00 p.m., and dinner and the show will start at 5:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to wear their best 1980s attire. This event is perfect for anyone who loves murder mysteries, theater performances, and delicious food. Whether you're coming with friends, family, or colleagues, you're sure to have a fantastic time.

Tickets are $50 and must be purchased in advance. They go on sale June 1st and include both dinner and the show. This year's event is expected to sell out quickly, so be sure to get your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

The Sertoma Club aims to help individuals with hearing and speech impairments, and the Murder Mystery dinner and silent auction is the organization’s biggest fundraiser of the year.

Participants are given a back story, clues, and the opportunity to interrogate local actors to try and guess who committed the murder. There will also be a silent auction and prizes will be awarded for best costume.
